This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +6 more states.
• Expand market share by engaging with both existing and prospective customers in the Northeast region.
• Offer value-added aluminum extrusion services, encompassing fabrication and anodizing.
• Cultivate Hydro network accounts for applications outside the automotive sector.
• Manage primary interactions, administration, and communication with sales prospects and customers.
• Serve as the representative of the company to the customer base.
• Build and nurture customer relationships to improve retention and market share growth.
• Execute sales activities aligned with the company's strategy, values, policies, and procedures.
• Establish, sustain, and expand a new business pipeline.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities among both existing and new clients.
• Conduct forecasting, analysis, reporting, inquiries, and market intelligence activities.
• Leverage customer and market insights to implement effective sales strategies.
• Collaborate with customer service, plant operations, and planning teams to address account-related issues.
• Prepare updates, highlights, and specialized management reports.
• Complete special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Region Sales Manager and Commercial Leadership.
• Report directly to the East Regional Sales Manager.
• 5-10 years of experience in aluminum extrusion with a focus on front-line sales account management.
• A relevant degree in marketing or business, or equivalent educational or experiential background.
• Technical knowledge and experience in pricing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Proven experience in selling value-added operations, including fabrication/machining, anodizing, and painting.
• The role necessitates travel of 50% or more.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent educational or experiential background, is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in sales account management and cultivating customer relationships.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Suite, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with manufacturing and sales teams to coordinate, develop, and secure commercial sales opportunities.
• Capable of reading and interpreting fabrication and other technical drawings.
• Must reside within the designated Northeast territory.
