This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Spearhead efforts to acquire new business by targeting new logo accounts and promoting expansion opportunities.
• Create and implement outbound sales strategies to establish and sustain a robust sales pipeline.
• Oversee a substantial and active pipeline, swiftly advancing opportunities from lead generation to contract signing.
• Act as the main contact for prospective customers.
• Clearly communicate MariaDB's value proposition and tailor solutions to fulfill customer business requirements.
• Identify, engage, and prospect new logo accounts and key stakeholders.
• Interact with SMB-mid-market clients as well as some greenfield enterprise accounts.
• Handle the entire sales process from cold-calling and lead qualification to virtual demos, negotiations, and closing deals.
• Keep precise sales forecasts and maintain records of client interactions and pipeline in SFDC and Clari.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales leadership to develop outbound strategies, qualify leads, and onboard customers.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and MariaDB database solutions.
• Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
• Report directly to the Director of EMEA High Velocity Sales.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a quota-carrying, closing sales role within a B2B SaaS setting.
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment with short sales cycles.
• A history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Experience as a focused sales hunter specializing in new logo acquisition and outbound sales strategies.
• Proven track record of closing deals with SMB-Mid-market clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Mandatory fluency in both English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in CRM tools such as SFDC.
• Skilled in using sales engagement platforms like Sales Navigator, Salesloft, and Clari.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
• Must reside in Bucharest, Romania.
• MariaDB does not provide work visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
