This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Oversee and enhance relationships with Key Accounts and other assigned accounts within a designated market.
• Act as the main point of contact for the assigned accounts.
• Meet established revenue targets.
• Create and implement collaborative programs with Kiva’s retail partners.
• Establish connections and identify as well as secure new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Manage and increase sales within current accounts while actively seeking new business prospects.
• Foster relationships with owners, buyers, dispensary managers, budtenders, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Work alongside Trade Marketing Managers and retail partners on promotional initiatives, incentives/contests, displays, merchandising, product launches, brand and product training, and other sales-enhancing projects.
• Utilize data and analytics for informed decision-making, strategy formulation, and performance evaluation.
• Discover new business opportunities, target potential accounts, and broaden Kiva's brand and product distribution.
• Contribute to key performance indicators related to field activities, sales, distribution, and brand visibility.
• Oversee daily retailer interactions and field activities in Salesforce, which includes maintaining contact information, logging interactions, and managing follow-up tasks.
• Report directly to the Senior Sales Manager.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and managing Key Account relationships, with a demonstrated history of generating substantial revenue.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in CPG, spirits/wine/beer, and/or cannabis is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with distribution ERP systems is a plus.
• Must possess reliable transportation and meet Motor Vehicle Report requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills are essential.
• Experience working with a respected, premium brand company.
• A genuine passion for the cannabis industry.
• Unquestionable integrity, strong interpersonal skills, a sense of urgency, and a strategic, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to collaborate with field marketing and utilize category and shopper insights.
• Problem-solving, solution-oriented mindset, along with effective negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to sell premium products in price-sensitive markets.
• Excellent customer service, organizational skills, attention to detail, and awareness of competitive trends.
• Capability to build and exert influence both internally and externally.
• Quarterly bonus.
