This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee and enhance relationships with key accounts and designated clients within the designated market.
• Act as the main point of contact for the assigned accounts.
• Meet revenue goals and increase sales within existing accounts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Foster and sustain relationships with owners, buyers, dispensary managers, budtenders, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and execute sales-boosting initiatives with Trade Marketing Managers and retail partners, which include promotions, incentives, displays, merchandising, product launches, and training sessions.
• Utilize data and analytics for informed decision-making, strategy formulation, and performance assessment.
• Broaden the reach of Kiva brands and product distribution within current accounts.
• Contribute to key performance indicators related to field activities, sales, distribution, and brand visibility.
• Document retailer interactions, contact details, activities, and follow-up tasks in Salesforce.
• Report directly to the Senior Sales Manager.
• Travel frequently to retailers, client locations, trade shows, and industry events.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and managing Key Account relationships, with a demonstrated ability to generate significant revenue.
• Must satisfy Kiva's Motor Vehicle requirements.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in CPG, spirits/wine/beer, and/or cannabis is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with distribution ERP systems is an advantage.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to meet Motor Vehicle Report requirements.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
• Experience with a well-known, premium brand company is desired.
• A passion for the cannabis industry.
• Willingness to travel frequently by car and occasionally by plane within the assigned market.
• Capability to utilize a computer, tablet, phone, and standard office equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and set up materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
