This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Navigate intricate B2B software sales involving various stakeholders.
• Manage the entire sales process, from discovery calls and product demonstrations to objection handling, contracting, and closing.
• Engage with leaders in Professional Learning, Human Resources, Teaching & Learning, and Technology within school districts.
• Acquire and convey knowledge about KickUp’s platform features, outcomes, and customer success strategy.
• Participate in sales calls while independently handling and scheduling calls.
• Advance deals through the sales cycle and develop a robust pipeline.
• Articulate value propositions and position KickUp based on a thorough needs analysis.
• Attend conferences to network with school district leaders and establish a business portfolio.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns tailored to specific territories.
• Monitor close rates and assist with projections and pipeline management.
• Share effective sales techniques and best practices with the sales team.
• Offer customer and market insights to the product team.
• Successfully close sales and achieve or surpass individual and team sales objectives.
• Foster enduring relationships with school districts.
• Utilize HubSpot CRM to forecast pipeline and relay revenue performance.
• Recognize market trends and potential growth opportunities.
• Enhance sales processes and expand the pipeline during the off-season.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, including at least 1 year in the K-12 EdTech sector.
• Driven by the goal of increasing revenue growth.
• Receptive to feedback and dedicated to ongoing improvement.
• Proficient in building strong relationships.
• Persistent and detail-oriented in follow-through.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Exhibits ownership and pride in both personal and organizational performance.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
