This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote the Shield™ colorectal cancer blood test to primary care healthcare professionals.
• Meet or surpass sales objectives through prospecting, relationship development, and the implementation of national sales strategies.
• Establish connections with healthcare providers and secure commitment to integrate Shield for colorectal cancer and other types of cancer.
• Engage in challenger-selling dialogues to identify provider needs and illustrate how Guardant Health solutions enhance patient outcomes and optimize practices.
• Train and educate primary care practices on products to gain stakeholder support and incorporate Shield into their workflows.
• Partner with clinical, marketing, and product teams to synchronize sales strategies and provide feedback.
• Discover new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Cultivate partnerships with regional and local laboratories to broaden reach and establish phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Create and implement business plans that support the launch of new cancer screening technologies.
• Evaluate market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine sales tactics.
• Share customer insights and opportunities with the Commercial Team.
• Deliver high-touch customer service and proactively address issues throughout the sales process.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• At least 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare sector (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales), or a minimum of 2 years of customer-facing healthcare sales experience combined with direct clinical experience in a patient care setting as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
• Demonstrated history of sales success and motivation to achieve results.
• Capability to engage in sales conversations, address objections, and align client needs with product offerings.
• Strong comprehension of the healthcare provider landscape and the ability to swiftly learn and apply technical product knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms.
• Outstanding negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally for sales meetings.
• Ability to responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is required.
• Capability to sit for extended periods and perform desk/office work; may be exposed to laboratory noise, fumes, and biohazard materials.
• Preferred: Experience with diagnostic products, particularly blood-based testing or cancer screening products, directly targeting primary care providers.
• Preferred: Knowledge of the primary care landscape within the assigned territory.
• Preferred: Experience in planning and executing healthcare or diagnostic product launches.
• Preferred: Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
