This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Promote the Shield™ colorectal cancer blood test to healthcare providers in primary care environments.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets through prospecting, relationship cultivation, and implementation of national sales strategies.
• Establish connections with healthcare professionals and secure their commitment to adopting Shield for colorectal cancer and additional cancers.
• Utilize challenger selling techniques to comprehend provider needs and illustrate how Guardant Health solutions enhance patient outcomes and optimize practices.
• Educate and train primary care practices on product knowledge to facilitate a seamless integration of the Shield workflow.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and product teams to develop sales strategies and business plans.
• Identify new business prospects within the designated territory.
• Cultivate partnerships with regional and local laboratories to extend reach and finalize phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Formulate and implement business plans to support the launch of new cancer screening technologies.
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
• Relay customer insights and opportunities to the Commercial Team and leadership.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively address issues throughout the sales process.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• A minimum of 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare sector (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sales), or at least 2 years of such experience combined with direct clinical experience in a patient care setting as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
• Demonstrated history of success and a strong drive for achievement.
• Proficiency in engaging in sales discussions, overcoming objections, and aligning client needs with product offerings.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare provider landscape.
• Capability to swiftly learn and apply technical product information.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Veeva, or equivalent systems.
• Outstanding negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally for sales meetings.
• Capacity to demonstrate curiosity, sound judgment, and responsible usage of AI-enabled tools in compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is mandatory.
• Preferred: Experience with diagnostic products, specifically blood-based testing or cancer screening products, directed at primary care providers.
• Preferred: Experience in planning and executing product launches in healthcare or diagnostics.
• Preferred: Familiarity with the primary care landscape in the designated territory.
• Base salary ranging from $116,000 to $133,000 annually.
• Eligibility for bonus, commission, or equity may apply.
