This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Develop, manage, and implement account and territory strategies for designated U.S. Army accounts.
• Stay informed about customer missions, organizational structures, budget cycles, and decision-making processes.
• Lead the deal strategy from inception to completion while owning the account strategy.
• Meet and surpass assigned bookings/revenue targets.
• Provide accurate forecasts and maintain a robust multi-quarter pipeline.
• Oversee sales opportunities from start to finish, including bid/win strategies, pricing, partnerships, and proposal development.
• Collaborate with capture teams, solution architects, and contract management.
• Build and strengthen relationships with Army program offices, contracting personnel, end users, and key stakeholders.
• Create and implement call plans to ensure a multi-threaded approach to deals.
• Utilize Epoch’s OEM partner network and contract vehicles to position viable and compliant solutions.
• Convert Army mission requirements into customized IT solutions spanning infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and hyperconverged technologies.
• Keep accurate records of accounts, opportunities, and activities in CRM.
• Provide reliable forecasts and reporting to leadership.
• Monitor Army modernization priorities, budgets, and upcoming procurements to identify and cultivate opportunities.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of demonstrated, quota-bearing account management or field sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in IT or technology solutions to the federal government, particularly the U.S. Army or broader Department of War.
• Evidence of strategic account management that includes complex account plans, multi-stakeholder engagements, and comprehensive sales cycles from prospecting to closing and expansion.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance at a minimum; higher clearance is advantageous.
• Capacity to maintain eligibility for security clearance.
• Familiarity with the Department of War/Army acquisition and procurement processes and relevant contract vehicles, such as ITES-4H and GWAC/IDIQ.
• Excellent consultative, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to engage with technical experts and senior decision-makers.
• Proficiency in CRM software; Salesforce experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations, installations, and industry events as necessary.
• Existing connections within Army program offices, PEOs, and contracting commands are preferred.
• Experience as a value-added reseller or solutions integrator is preferred.
• Familiarity with an OEM partner ecosystem is preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud services, data center, or hyperconverged infrastructure solutions is preferred.
• Understanding of federal compliance frameworks such as CMMC is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
