This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and enhance a strategic utility customer relationship within the Dallas/Fort Worth region
• Act as the main point of coordination between the customer and Hitachi Energy
• Align customer business objectives with solutions from the power and energy portfolio
• Collaborate with customer executives, internal business units, technical specialists, and project teams
• Identify opportunities and tackle complex business challenges
• Foster long-term account growth, boost customer engagement, increase orders, and enhance customer satisfaction
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with utility executives and key stakeholders
• Formulate and implement account plans that align with customer priorities and business objectives
• Coordinate resources across various business units to provide customer value
• Identify, qualify, and promote growth opportunities within the designated account
• Facilitate intricate commercial discussions and negotiations
• Monitor customer satisfaction and assist in the timely resolution of significant issues
• Support capture planning, opportunity development, and strategic project pursuits
• Mentor and coordinate account team members to ensure effective execution and customer engagement
• Ensure adherence to relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
• Candidate must already possess work authorization that allows them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline is required
• 10+ years of pertinent experience
• Experience in customer-facing sales roles, ideally within the energy sector
• Experience managing direct reports is preferred
• Exposure to a variety of products, customers, geographies, or market segments
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrixed team environment
• Experience with customer relationship management, sales pursuits, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement
• Strong business acumen with the capability to comprehend customer priorities, market trends, and commercial considerations
• MBA is preferred
