This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Develop and nurture robust relationships with enterprise-level clients.
• Oversee current enterprise-level customer accounts, ensuring renewals and pinpointing upsell possibilities.
• Seek, cultivate, and finalize upsell opportunities within the designated territory through proactive outreach and channel partnerships.
• Formulate and implement a detailed territory strategy to achieve and surpass booking goals.
• Present both high-level and intricate sales presentations for Qualys cybersecurity offerings.
• Address functional and technical aspects of RFIs and RFPs.
• Collaborate with Technical Support Engineers to ensure positive case resolutions.
• Remain informed about industry trends, advancements in cybersecurity, and changes in regulations.
• Represent Qualys at both virtual and physical conferences and seminars.
• Work in partnership with Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, Sales Leadership, and Marketing teams.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews, executive reviews, and product roadmap discussions.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts.
• Maintain regular cadence calls with account teams to assess health, strategies, projects, and business needs.
• Monitor account leads and guarantee prompt responses in line with company SLAs.
• Coordinate support and technical teams to address product-related challenges or technical issues.
• Draft sales proposals, manage contract requirements, and process orders.
• Demonstrated experience in account management or sales, ideally within the cybersecurity or technology industries.
• Solid understanding of cloud cybersecurity solutions and recurring revenue models.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of building relationships across all organizational levels.
• Background in Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or Insurance.
• Proficient in CRM platforms and sales forecasting techniques.
• Ability to assess market trends and customer feedback to discover upsell opportunities.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working autonomously as well as within a team.
• Must take ownership of accounts and effectively manage support teams.
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple accounts and teams.
• Knowledge of keeping projects on track.
• Experience conducting quarterly business reviews, executive reviews, and product roadmap sessions.
• Proven track record in negotiating and closing contracts.
• Must be open to travel.
