This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a primary finance resource for a new client account.
• Oversee comprehensive financial operations for a large-scale, performance-driven data center facilities management contract.
• Create financial reporting packages and documentation for account evaluations and business assessments.
• Lead variance analysis at the account level and deliver financial insights.
• Maintain forecasting and budgeting tools and develop account-level forecasts.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals, deferred revenue recognition, reclassifications, and reconciliations.
• Monitor account profitability and burn rates.
• Generate and send client invoices along with necessary supporting documentation.
• Prebill clients and reconcile invoicing discrepancies for vendor variances.
• Review and reconcile employee timecards for an operation with over 45 staff members.
• Evaluate and authorize expense reports.
• Supervise billing deadlines and resolve discrepancies in Salesforce, Intacct, and client billing systems.
• Manage billing structures for Designated Entities and maintain separate invoice streams.
• Track and collect overdue accounts receivable.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and uphold financial models and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor budget variances in relation to contractual limits and thresholds.
• Verify and validate vendor invoices, including coding, markups, rebates, purchase orders, and passthrough costs.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, purchase order creation, and accounts payable processing.
• Maintain documentation for contracts, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Track changes in contracts, CPI increases, inflation adjustments, unfilled position costs, and overtime expenses.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining documentation for cost validation and invoice backup.
• Engage in governance meetings and prepare financial materials.
• Communicate financial outcomes and insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Operations, Service Delivery, and Business Development leaders.
• Participate in weekly operational sync meetings.
• Ensure data integrity across Salesforce, Intacct, and Smartsheet.
• Propel process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in account coordination, financial analysis, or a client-facing finance position.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, and Salesforce.
• Experience in billing, revenue recognition, cost tracking, and month-end closing processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to present financial data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Preferred: Experience with Time & Materials (T&M) and passthrough billing models.
• Preferred: Knowledge of data center or critical infrastructure operations.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting performance-based contracts with KPI-linked financial deliverables.
• Preferred: Understanding of EHS, OSHA, and NFPA standards.
• Preferred: Experience with ERP systems and process automation tools, including Power Query, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
