This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Create and execute access plans for priority products at both the regional and hospital levels.
• Convert national and Therapeutic Area access strategies into actionable field initiatives.
• Recognize barriers to access and establish plans to mitigate them.
• Track access status, listings, positioning, account performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Safeguard agreed pricing and positioning at regional and hospital levels.
• Assist in strategies for Healthcare System Readiness and engage with stakeholders.
• Develop and sustain relationships with stakeholders including hospitals, regions, payers, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Map out decision-makers and influence pathways within accounts.
• Represent the organization in discussions and negotiations regarding access.
• Collect stakeholder insights to refine access strategies.
• Lead or assist in regional and hospital negotiations to ensure access.
• Contribute to activities related to tendering and contracting.
• Promote formulary inclusion and reimbursement results.
• Support early access initiatives where applicable.
• Collaborate with Therapeutic Area Access Strategy, Medical, Commercial, HEOR/HTA, Execution Excellence, and Public Affairs teams.
• Coordinate account plans and projects that span multiple functions.
• Align field activities with launch, lifecycle, and Healthcare System Readiness efforts.
• Keep precise account data and activity logs in CRM systems.
• Report technical complaints, adverse events, and special scenarios within specified timelines.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, corporate policies, and local regulations.
• Extensive experience in market access, field access, or similar healthcare roles within intricate healthcare systems.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, health economics, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience collaborating with hospitals, payers, regional health authorities, or similar healthcare stakeholders.
• Familiarity with reimbursement, formulary, tendering, launch, and in-market processes.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, access pathways, and market access dynamics.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship building.
• Capability to develop and implement structured account plans utilizing data and KPIs to assess performance.
