This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a reliable resource, clarifying University policies, Financial Aid guidelines, and Title IV regulations.
• Offer tailored, student-focused assistance.
• Oversee a student caseload through proactive communication.
• Manage student Accounts Receivable, which includes document collection, student payments, and financial aid.
• Supervise and facilitate the collection and submission of vouchers.
• Direct students to relevant departments and campus resources.
• Navigate various systems and reports to assist students effectively.
• Engage with students via phone, email, video, and chat.
• Address escalated student issues and find solutions to challenges.
• Implement outreach and communication strategies to enhance engagement and student success.
• Track academic progress, identify at-risk demographics, and support successful program completion.
• Utilize coaching methods to foster relationships and motivate students towards graduation.
• Provide suggestions and resources to enhance student satisfaction, retention, and achievement.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive student experience.
• Share updates from the University and contribute to departmental initiatives and special projects.
• Maintain dependable and consistent attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in recruiting, advising, student services, retention, academic counseling, marketing, educational services, or customer service is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced, student- or customer-oriented environment is preferred.
• Background in academic advising and course enrollment within a college or university setting is preferred.
• Experience in supporting online students is preferred.
• Knowledge of Financial Aid or Title IX regulations is preferred.
• Experience in interpreting and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and guidelines is preferred.
• Familiarity with higher education and technology-driven environments is preferred.
• A solid understanding of academic and business practices in an online learning context.
• Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication and active listening abilities.
• Proficient in de-escalating and resolving student concerns.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Creative and logical approach to problem-solving.
• Comfort with word processing tools, databases, internet navigation, SMS, live chat, and email systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint).
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Must be eligible to access the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS).
