This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
• Manage the direct relationships with customers while overseeing, implementing, and administering third-party logistics partnerships.
• Collaborate with customers to develop and execute intricate project plans for the successful launch and management of third-party logistics initiatives.
• Work alongside McKesson, customers, and both domestic and international business partners.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of customer business challenges and demands to foster long-term relationships, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive additional sales and profits.
• Support new customer sales initiatives through RFP responses, site visits, quality audits, and capability presentations.
• Ensure the success of the overall customer value stream.
• Act as the primary point of contact and internal advocate for designated strategic accounts.
• Convert client objectives into value propositions and actionable plans.
• Promote product and service adoption and utilization.
• Implement value-based selling strategies, expand account presence, and explore new client opportunities.
• Negotiate and finalize contract renewals while driving organic growth through up-selling and cross-selling initiatives.
• Coordinate solutions for complex issues in collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Relay customer challenges and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
• Forecast and monitor account health metrics, maintaining reports, account plans, opportunities, and activities within the CRM system.
• Create client business narratives and present them during monthly or quarterly business reviews and to internal leadership.
• Engage in or lead cross-functional projects focused on product/service innovation and operational improvements.
• Work remotely from a home office and travel up to 25% as necessary.
• A minimum of 4 years in distribution or client-facing account management, preferably within Third-Party Logistics, Drug Distribution, PBM, or finance sectors.
• A degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Availability to travel up to 25%.
• Experience in Client Experience Management with medium to large strategic or complex customers.
• Proficient in contract management, administration, and pricing negotiations.
• Strong financial acumen with the capability to devise strategies that enhance revenue and EBITA.
• High aptitude for adhering to contractual processes and procedures.
• Experience working within a highly regulated environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to organize thoughts and tailor responses to the audience.
• Professional demeanor and executive presence.
• Strategic problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficient in conflict management.
• Ability to create and deliver effective presentations to executive stakeholders.
• Skilled in crafting presentation decks and presenting to both internal and external audiences.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, with a preference for SAP.
• Knowledge of pricing, contracting, and chargeback processes.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze reports for trends and identify gaps.
