3PL Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +36 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise the daily operations of iFIT's North American third-party logistics partners.

• Manage relationships with vendors, conduct regular meetings, and facilitate onsite quarterly business reviews (QBRs).

• Act as the main escalation point for operational issues related to 3PL.

• Analyze open order reports and 3PL workflow dashboards to ensure accuracy of dwell time.

• Guarantee that inbound orders are received, routed, and shipped correctly and punctually.

• Monitor exceptions and proactively address any delays.

• Order pallets for incoming containers and coordinate shipments with 3PL partners.

• Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fill rate, on-time shipping, dwell time, and accuracy.

• Hold 3PL partners accountable to established service levels and escalate any underperformance.

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams regarding order stagnation, dwell time, and logistics issues.

• Relay inventory status and fulfillment updates to internal stakeholders.

• Check 3PL invoices for accuracy and resolve any billing discrepancies.

• Identify operational inefficiencies, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), and drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations.

• Direct experience in managing or collaborating with 3PL providers.

• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Familiarity with order management processes including routing, carrier selection, and handling exceptions.

• Willingness to travel regularly across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience leading or participating in 3PL RFP processes, including requirements gathering, vendor scoring, and selection, is preferred.

• Experience in negotiating contracts with 3PL providers, covering rate cards, service level agreements (SLAs), penalties, and renewal terms is preferred.
