This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of teams, including Exchange Officers, Exchange Assistants, and Sales Representatives, who facilitate 1031 tax-deferred exchange transactions.

• Supervise branch operations, focusing on profitability, goals, and objectives.

• Track and report profitability for designated geographic areas.

• Analyze financial data, adjust expenditures, and achieve profit margins.

• Lead, coach, mentor, recruit, and train branch exchange personnel.

• Delegate tasks and create opportunities for professional development.

• Manage workflow and address escalated issues effectively.

• Align branch objectives with business unit goals and provide insights to Senior Management.

• Cultivate new and repeat business through collaboration with brokers, real estate agents, escrow and settlement offices, attorneys, and tax advisors.

• Sustain existing client relationships and foster ongoing business partnerships.

• Oversee all aspects of 1031 exchange transactions involving both internal and external stakeholders.

• Respond to inquiries and offer guidance on services, policies, and specific transactions.

• Ensure adherence to operational practices, staff training, reporting, auditing, and efficiency standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• 5-7 years of directly relevant 1031 exchange experience.

• 1-3 years of proven experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

• Demonstrated ability to establish, lead, and maintain productive working relationships.

• Strong knowledge of 1031 exchange regulations, including forward, reverse, and improvement exchanges.

• Proficient in computer skills.

• Capable of communicating company objectives and aligning goals accordingly.

• Understanding of competitor, financial, and industry trends.

• Skilled in recruiting, retaining, and developing talent while holding employees accountable for performance.

• Proficient in leading change, managing conflict, and encouraging collaboration.

• Able to enhance customer loyalty, manage expectations, solicit feedback, and ensure commitments are fulfilled.

• Competent in providing reliable information and delivering engaging and persuasive presentations.

• Strong listening and negotiation abilities.

• Capable of collaboratively developing, identifying, and implementing business solutions.

• Comfortable delivering presentations to groups of varying sizes.
