This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +11 more states.
• Acquire the necessary skills to execute the installation process for imaging systems.
• Build strong relationships with customers while delivering exceptional installation and customer service.
• Proactively identify and address customer concerns with urgency.
• Execute tasks in at least one imaging modality and have the potential to qualify in multiple modalities.
• Stay informed about technical advancements and current trends within the industry.
• Pursue both formal and informal training opportunities.
• Implement best practices and efficiently manage personal scheduling.
• Provide assistance to fellow team members when required.
• Fulfill administrative responsibilities within Philips and adhere to regulatory deadlines.
• Prepare timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventive maintenance records, installation documents, and site/service documentation.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a diagnostic imaging field or a hospital-based service environment, or at least 3 years in electromechanical industries.
• Preferred experience with Image Guided Therapy equipment.
• Proficient understanding and application of electronic, mechanical, and networking theories.
• Capability to install, diagnose, and repair equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with necessary tools and testing equipment.
• Associate Degree in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology is preferred.
• Must meet the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental prerequisites for the Field Service role.
• Ability to work in an office, home office, and/or remote setting as well as in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% via car, air, train, or bus.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
• Capacity to safely handle radiation sources and/or radioactive materials and utilize required personal protective equipment.
• US work authorization is mandatory; candidates needing current or future visa sponsorship will not be considered.
• Candidates must reside in or be within commuting distance of CT, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, VT, or WV.
