📋 Description

• Produce fast, precise, and captivating news articles within Dexerto’s primary focus areas.

• Create gaming tips and guides, and occasionally provide reviews.

• Report on gaming, television, movies, anime, entertainment, food, social media, content creators, and viral internet culture.

• Discover stories through social media, industry contacts, and trend analysis.

• Propose unique story ideas and features.

• Publish and share stories across social media platforms, including X and Facebook.

• Craft social media copy that boosts engagement and helps stories reach broader audiences.

• Collaborate closely with editors to uphold Dexerto’s editorial standards.

• Provide suggestions for headlines, angles, and follow-up content.

• Assist in identifying emerging trends before they become mainstream narratives.

• Proven experience writing for a digital publication, website, newspaper, magazine, or a similar medium.

• A genuine passion for gaming and an understanding of what players seek to learn.

• Capability to write clear and precise gaming tips and guides.

• Strong news judgment and an instinct for stories that resonate with online audiences.

• Exceptional writing, research, and fact-checking abilities.

• Interest in entertainment, social media, content creators, and online culture.

• Solid understanding of social media platforms and how stories propagate online.

• Experience utilizing X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, and Reddit.

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

• Openness to covering a diverse range of topics and adapting to new trends.

• Experience managing content posting to social media accounts for a publication is preferred.
