This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create persuasive and well-organized proposals, propositions, and tender documents that align with strategic objectives and customer requirements.
• Produce high-quality content for bids, proposals, and tenders that clearly articulate solutions, benefits, and value propositions.
• Ensure bid content is consistent with NEC messaging, branding, and strategic goals.
• Customize content for specific clients and contract opportunities.
• Compose engaging narratives that showcase NEC's strengths, differentiators, and capabilities while addressing client challenges.
• Review and refine content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Subject Matter Experts, solution leads, and proposition leads.
• Gather insights, input, best practices, answers, and relevant content for bid submissions.
• Oversee bid timelines alongside the assigned Bid Manager to ensure timely submissions.
• Collect feedback on tender outcomes to enhance content, processes, and success rates.
• Ensure all content adheres to quality, compliance, and accuracy standards.
• Document responses and feedback in accordance with knowledge management processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience as a proposal, proposition, and bid writer and reviewer, with a successful history of crafting persuasive bid content, proposals, and tender documents.
• Strong writing and editing capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and grammar.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and convincingly.
• Familiarity with bid management procedures and knowledge management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software, including emerging AI-enabled tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong project management and deadline management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Experience in gathering and implementing feedback to enhance bid content and success rates.
• Legal right to work and travel within the UK is required.
• Satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health checks are necessary.
• A Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may be required based on the role.
