Working Student – Procurement of Civil Engineering and Planning Services, Fiber Optic Network Expansion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist in both operational and strategic procurement for the expansion of fiber optic networks.

• Acquire civil engineering and planning services.

• Manage and document purchase orders.

• Create tender documents.

• Gather, assess, and compare quotations.

• Aid in awarding decisions and assist in pricing and contract negotiations.

• Research pricing, suppliers, and quotations.

• Maintain data related to procurement, suppliers, and contracts.

• Prepare analyses and presentations.

• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Planning, Project Management, and Controlling teams.

• Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of procurement processes.

• Take responsibility for individual tasks and smaller procurement projects following onboarding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Law, or a related field.

• Interest in procurement within civil engineering and planning sectors.

• Initial practical experience through internships or working student roles is advantageous.

• Passion for procurement processes and commercial environments.

• Attention to detail, structured, and dependable work ethic.

• Basic knowledge and interest in the technical, organizational, and legal aspects of civil engineering and planning services.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Excellent written and spoken German proficiency.

• Friendly and approachable demeanor when interacting with colleagues and both internal and external contacts.

• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.

• Eagerness to quickly learn about new topics.

• Availability for a minimum of 12 months; please include your preferred start date and availability period in your application.
