Working Student – Logistics Support, Inland Waterways Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist the Inland Waterways Manager in the planning, coordination, and oversight of inland waterway transportation activities and associated logistics processes.

• Aid in the planning and monitoring of inland waterway logistics.

• Keep schedules, shipment records, and logistics databases updated.

• Gather, compile, and evaluate logistics performance data for operational oversight and reporting.

• Facilitate communication with terminals, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

• Generate reports, presentations, and summaries of logistics performance.

• Help identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Assist with documentation and compliance-related tasks.

• Participate in logistics projects and daily operational activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree at a university in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent analytical abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong organizational capabilities and a methodical approach to managing tasks and information.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with various stakeholders.

• Proficiency in German and English at a minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.

• A keen interest in transportation, logistics, inland waterway operations, and supply chain processes.
