Working Student – Accounting & Controlling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist in the financial closing processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Support the daily operations and financial reporting activities.

• Generate reports and conduct financial analyses for various business departments, managers, and stakeholders.

• Facilitate and enhance intercompany reconciliations.

• Evaluate data quality within management reporting frameworks.

• Examine accounts and cost centers across both the income statement and balance sheet.

• Aid in the investigation and resolution of discrepancies.

• Oversee and improve data flows between Lucanet and Looker.

• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of dashboard data.

• Continuously enhance data quality, preparation, and presentation methods.

• Independently manage data imports into the Lucanet database.

• Participate in Accounting & Controlling projects, focusing on process optimization and tool implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing at least two more semesters in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or a related degree program.

• Already enrolled in an advanced semester.

• Available to work between 16 and 20 hours per week.

• Passionate about analyzing financial data using Excel.

• Proficient in Excel pivot tables and formulas.

• Initial hands-on experience in Accounting/Controlling.

• Ideally, some familiarity with DATEV, Lucanet, and/or Looker.

• Excellent command of German, both written and spoken.

• Structured, independent, and analytical approach to work.

• Eager to take on responsibilities.
