Workforce Development Consultant

📋 Description

• Collaborate with mining operations to pinpoint performance gaps and opportunities for enhancement.

• Leverage simulator and operational data to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Formulate and refine strategies for workforce development.

• Assist customers in meeting their operational and workforce performance goals.

• Establish trustworthy relationships with operational leaders and training teams.

• Lead discussions on workforce capability, operational performance, and business outcomes.

• Provide recommendations and highlight improvement opportunities to stakeholders.

• Contribute to the long-term success and value realization for customers.

• Roll out simulator-based training and workforce development initiatives.

• Assess training effectiveness and propose enhancements.

• Aid in project execution across various customer sites.

• Coordinate efforts with both local and global teams.

• Create performance reports and dashboards.

• Convert complex operational data into actionable insights.

• Report progress, outcomes, and recommendations to customer leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in mining operations, mining services, operational improvement, technical services, workforce development, training, or consulting.

• In-depth understanding of mining operational environments.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Capable of analyzing information and translating insights into actionable steps.

• Customer-oriented mindset with robust relationship management skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within North America.

• Previous experience in leading training, workforce development, or operational improvement initiatives is preferred.

• Familiarity with working alongside mine operations leadership teams is preferred.

• Experience with simulation, technology-enabled training, or performance improvement programs is preferred.

• Proficiency in utilizing data, reporting, or performance analytics to inform decision-making is preferred.

• Background in mining consulting, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or workforce capability development is preferred.
