This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create learning experiences that enhance clinical judgment, ensure patient safety, promote evidence-based practice, and develop professional nursing competencies.
• Collaborate with nursing faculty to design and update online, hybrid, and in-person nursing courses.
• Utilize ADDIE, Backward Design, and Quality Matters methodologies.
• Assist in the integration of NCLEX preparation strategies throughout the curriculum.
• Develop authentic assessments that evaluate clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Align learning outcomes, assessments, activities, and instructional materials with program competencies.
• Ensure the curriculum meets institutional standards and nursing program objectives.
• Facilitate the implementation of AI-driven learning tools and innovative teaching methods.
• Promote the adoption of best practices in accessibility, engagement, and assessment among faculty.
• Encourage ongoing improvement in course design and teaching effectiveness.
• Guarantee adherence to accessibility standards, institutional policies, and online course quality benchmarks.
• Support accreditation and regulatory requirements including ACEN, CCNE, and state board standards.
• Analyze learner performance and course evaluation data to suggest instructional enhancements.
• Engage in curriculum review and initiatives for continuous quality improvement.
• At least 3 years of instructional design experience in higher education, healthcare education, or workforce training.
• Experience in supporting nursing, healthcare, clinical, or allied health programs.
• Proven experience in designing online and hybrid learning experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts.
• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Technology, Nursing Education, Healthcare Education, Adult Learning, or a related field.
• Coursework or specialization in instructional design, learning technologies, or curriculum development will also be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is preferred.
