Workforce Business Partner – North East

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business leaders to convert organizational objectives into actionable people strategies that enhance capability, performance, and employee retention.

• Facilitate workforce planning and organizational design discussions to ensure that the appropriate structure, roles, and talent are established.

• Mentor and influence leaders regarding talent strategy, performance management, and engagement of Independent Contractors.

• Provide guidance on Independent Contractor relations issues and work together with the Workforce Relations COE to find resolutions.

• Examine people data and insights to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, and deliver data-driven recommendations.

• Advocate for change management and communication strategies that support transformation, adoption, and ongoing improvement.

• Ensure adherence to internal policies and local labor regulations while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.

• Report directly to the Team Lead, Workforce Partner.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a Business Partnership or advisory role.

• Proven experience in fast-paced, matrixed, or multinational settings.

• Strong knowledge of fundamental HR functions — including performance management, employee relations, organizational design, and workforce planning.

• Demonstrated capability to leverage HR data and analytics for informed decision-making.

• Preferred: Background in supporting technical or commercial business units within fintech, banking, or technology sectors.

• Preferred: Proven success in influencing senior stakeholders and leading complex change initiatives.
