This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the Broker Distribution strategy to achieve objectives related to new sales, retention, profitability, and expenses.
• Achieve annual sales targets set by Sales Leadership.
• Collaborate with Workforce Benefits Distribution resources to effectively communicate the Workforce Benefits narrative to brokers.
• Enhance, nurture, and expand broker relationships.
• Conduct the required number of meetings per week with assigned brokers.
• Generate a suitable pipeline of RFPs each month.
• Cultivate and elevate local broker connections to boost sales and enhance the Pacific Life brand.
• Exhibit expertise in Pacific Life group products.
• Maintain relationships with underwriting, product, pricing, regulatory compliance, and actuarial pricing teams.
• Employ established and innovative methods, tools, and partnerships to support growth targets.
• Prioritize the perspectives of customers and brokers in decision-making processes.
• Engage in industry and community initiatives.
• Act as a representative of the company at legislative forums, industry events, and community programs as required.
• Undertake other job-related responsibilities and special projects as necessary.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Over 5 years of experience in group benefits sales.
• Established presence within the broker marketplace.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or risk management, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to gather and analyze data from diverse sources to inform decisions and align stakeholders with organizational goals.
• Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset for developing creative solutions.
• Capacity to solicit feedback, process opinions, and take calculated risks.
