Workflow – IT Solution Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Assist in the setup, configuration, validation, and integration of laboratory automation and diagnostic IT systems.

• Provide both on-site and remote technical assistance, troubleshooting issues to guarantee system reliability and performance.

• Conduct training sessions for laboratory personnel and clients.

• Evaluate workflows and pinpoint opportunities to enhance laboratory efficiency through automation enhancements.

• Serve as a technical authority in automation solutions for both clients and internal teams.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and uphold high-quality benchmarks during implementations.

• Collaborate with Sales, PMO, Service, and R&D to facilitate successful project execution.

• Keep precise documentation and reporting of system activities, performance metrics, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Assist in post-sales activities as a member of the Customer Service EMEA team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Background in laboratory automation, diagnostic systems, or similar settings.

• In-depth technical expertise in automated diagnostic systems, middleware, and laboratory workflows.

• Proficient with relevant IT systems, software applications, and diagnostic technologies.

• Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.

• Capacity to deliver training and support efficiently.

• Proficiency in Italian and English, along with an additional EU language: Spanish, French, or German.

• Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time throughout Italy or Europe and adapt to flexible working hours as business needs dictate.

• Previous experience in a European or international team is advantageous.

• Previous project management experience in complex laboratory or hospital settings is a plus.
