πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Evaluate Workers Compensation Lost-Time claims on behalf of clients to ascertain due benefits.

β€’ Maintain ongoing adjudication of claims in alignment with service expectations, industry best practices, and client service standards.

β€’ Assess and manage claims through action plans aimed at prompt resolution.

β€’ Conduct investigations and gather information to evaluate claim exposure.

β€’ Negotiate claim settlements within the defined authority limits.

β€’ Update claimants and clients regarding claim activity and processing.

β€’ Submit claims to the excess carrier.

β€’ Respond to requests for guidance in a professional and timely manner.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

β€’ A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

β€’ Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

β€’ A minimum of 4 years of claims management experience or a suitable combination of education and experience is required.

β€’ Strong experience in Vermont jurisdiction is essential.

β€’ Vermont licensing is mandatory.

β€’ Knowledge of jurisdictions: CT, MA, NH, RI, VT is required.

β€’ Ability to think clearly and conceptually.

β€’ Excellent judgment, troubleshooting skills, problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and discretion are essential.

β€’ Capacity to manage work-related stress.

β€’ Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.

β€’ Capability to meet deadlines.

β€’ Proficiency in computer keyboarding.

β€’ Good hearing, vision, and verbal communication skills.
