Auto Claims Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and optimize payments on medical claims for hospitals and healthcare providers.

• Research and analyze details related to auto accidents to identify the appropriate payer.

• Initiate outbound calls to patients, insurance representatives, and attorneys.

• Submit bills along with necessary documentation to insurance companies.

• Ensure maximum payment is achieved for medical provider clients.

• Identify follow-up actions and resubmit bills for additional payments if initial submissions are not processed correctly.

• Assist with denial reports, audits, and provide overall support to the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Capable of using multiple computer screens and software applications concurrently.

• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume outbound call center setting with productivity metrics.

• Strong organizational skills while managing multiple tasks.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• A private, distraction-free workspace at home.

• Comfortable with being on camera during work hours.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Home internet speeds must exceed 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• Workspace should support a laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, docking station, and headset.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

• Verification of employment history and successful completion of a background check is required.
