This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tunisia.
• Oversee the implementation of digital worker voice initiatives in workplaces across French-speaking African countries.
• Direct training and provide technical support for supplier platforms.
• Handle grievance cases and maintain communication with suppliers and brands.
• Offer investigation and remediation assistance upon brands' request.
• Create and revise onboarding materials for suppliers and workers.
• Maintain consistent communication with supplier management from the initiation of the program through regular status updates.
• Collaborate with the Director of Client Services, Senior Managers, and the Deployment Team to ensure successful program implementation.
• Collect feedback and suggestions from clients and suppliers to guide platform improvements.
• Engage with workers, suppliers, and brands to foster significant impact.
• Introduce digital worker engagement initiatives to suppliers, both virtually and in person when feasible.
• Secure management support, provide training on platform utilization, encourage worker engagement, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
• Must be located in Africa, specifically in one of the following countries: Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Gabon, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, Togo, or Tunisia.
• Background in social compliance or labor rights.
• Familiarity and experience in supply chains, corporate sourcing, ethical procurement, grievance mechanisms, social impact, sustainability, international development, social impact technology, and/or business and human rights.
• Over 5 years of experience in the global supply chain sector, delivering social or labor impact projects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Experience in customer service and client delivery.
• Highly organized, responsible, and conscientious.
• Willingness to travel nationally on occasion.
• Capability to connect with workers, suppliers, and brands effectively.
• Strong interest and aptitude for utilizing technology.
• Knowledge of the auditing industry and international certification standards such as BSCI, ETI, and SA8000, as well as grievance mechanisms and sustainability organizations like SEDEX is advantageous.
• Self-driven, adaptable to change, and able to take initiative on projects.
