This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Gabon.
• Oversee the implementation of digital worker voice initiatives in French-speaking African countries.
• Conduct training for supplier platforms and offer technical assistance.
• Handle grievance cases by coordinating with suppliers and brands.
• Assist in investigations and remediation efforts as requested by brands.
• Create and revise onboarding materials for suppliers and workers.
• Maintain regular communication with supplier management from program initiation through ongoing status updates.
• Collaborate with the Director of Client Services, Client Services Senior Managers, Managers, and the Deployment Team to ensure successful program execution.
• Collect feedback and suggestions from clients and suppliers to enhance platform features.
• Interact with workers, suppliers, and brands to foster significant impact.
• Present digital worker engagement programs to suppliers, both virtually and on-site when feasible.
• Secure management support and provide training on platform utilization.
• Encourage worker involvement.
• Work remotely with an international team and participate in occasional evening meetings with teams in Canada and Europe.
• Background in social compliance or labor rights.
• Expertise in supply chains, corporate sourcing, ethical procurement, grievance mechanisms, social impact, sustainability, international development, social impact technology, and/or business and human rights.
• Over 5 years of experience in the global supply chain sector delivering social or labor impact projects.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
• Proven experience in customer/client service and delivery.
• Highly organized, diligent, and responsible.
• Some national travel may be necessary.
• Awareness of labor, human, and community rights issues within global supply chains.
• Knowledge and experience in community relations and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
• Proficiency in adopting new technologies and training others to utilize them.
• Self-driven, adaptable to change and uncertainty, and eager to take ownership of projects.
• Commitment to equality and safe working environments.
• Familiarity with auditing standards and international certification criteria such as BSCI, ETI, and SA8000, as well as grievance mechanisms, industry associations, and sustainability organizations like SEDEX is advantageous.
