This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for Workday Financials and associated finance applications, encompassing financial management, procurement, reporting, and interconnected business processes.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document business needs, requirements, and functional specifications.
• Assess existing processes and workflows, pinpoint gaps and inefficiencies, and suggest enhancements.
• Configure and uphold Workday business processes, security-related requirements, reports, calculated fields, and other functional elements.
• Assist with integrations and data flows between Workday and other related finance applications.
• Offer daily production support, troubleshoot system issues, communicate solutions, and escalate risks or defects as necessary.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance scheduled and ad hoc reports using Workday reporting tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, investigate reporting discrepancies, and enhance data visibility.
• Create test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria; execute or oversee testing processes.
• Aid in project planning and execution for Finance systems initiatives.
• Keep up-to-date with Workday releases and product capabilities.
• Generate and maintain functional documentation, procedures, job aids, and support materials.
• Establish effective working relationships with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, FP&A, and other cross-functional collaborators.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting Finance organizations, Finance systems, business applications, or a related field.
• At least 3-4 years of practical experience with Workday Financials or equivalent ERP finance modules.
• Proficient understanding of Finance processes, procedures, and policies, with the capability to convert business requirements into system solutions.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, gap analysis, functional design, system configuration, testing, reporting, and documentation.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting system issues and conveying clear, actionable resolutions to business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and customer service abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt effectively to change.
• Regular and prompt attendance at the assigned work location is required.
• Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, computer, and other office-related equipment.
• No heavy lifting is anticipated, although occasional exertion of up to 20 lbs. of force may be necessary.
