Automation Systems Analyst – DevOps – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote and/or on-site support services to ensure the environment operates smoothly.

• Utilize configuration management tools to uphold consistency and standardization across different environments.

• Oversee environments using containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.

• Automate the setup, configuration, and scalability of servers, clusters, and other resources in both on-premises and cloud settings.

• Identify and resolve issues in production settings, implementing preventive measures to avert recurrence.

• Safeguard environment security through access control, encryption, and adherence to best practices in information security.

• Perform performance and stability testing to confirm enhancements and pinpoint bottlenecks.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation concerning automation pipelines, configurations, technical procedures, and implemented improvements.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to synchronize automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) strategies, thereby enhancing the DevOps culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree achieved or in progress in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Proven professional experience demonstrated through employment history or a statement from a public or private organization where the candidate previously held the role.

• Collaborate with development teams to incorporate DevOps methodologies.

• A history of infrastructure automation utilizing Ansible and/or Terraform.

• Implement systems in a scalable and resilient fashion using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Formulate and execute application migration strategies for Kubernetes.

• Resolve technical infrastructure challenges in Kubernetes environments.

• ITIL v4 training of at least 12 hours.

• Official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or a higher qualification.

• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification.

• Completion of the DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (LFS162) course or an equivalent program.
