Workday Product Architect II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design of a scalable and secure Finance system architecture that aligns with organizational objectives, business requirements, and compliance standards.

• Partner with Finance, HR, IS, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure effective implementation.

• Formulate integration strategies that connect Workday with other enterprise systems.

• Enhance business processes by leveraging Workday Finance functionalities and automation capabilities.

• Provide expertise on data governance, internal controls, and audit compliance within the Workday environment.

• Supervise complex configurations and system modifications, ensuring adherence to best practices while minimizing disruption.

• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of intricate system issues escalated by support or operations teams.

• Keep thorough documentation of Finance system architecture, integration designs, and process flows.

• Mentor and support consulting and technical teams engaged in Workday HR/Payroll/Finance implementations.

• Stay abreast of Workday updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend ongoing improvements.

• Ensure alignment across various modules and interfaces within Workday and other systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education on an equivalent basis.

• Over 8 years of progressive experience working with Workday platforms.

• Significant hands-on expertise in at least two of the following: HCM, Payroll, or Finance modules.

• More than 3 years of experience in a Workday architectural, lead configuration, or technical design position.

• Proven proficiency in system architecture, integration design, Workday security models, and compliance controls.

• Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance principles, business processes, and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex, cross-module issues.

• Experience working with senior HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to define and implement Workday strategy.

• Workday Financials Certification and Workday Reporting experience preferred.

• Familiarity with Workday grants and Adaptive preferred.

• All remote work must be conducted within one of the MCW registered payroll states: Wisconsin, Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Utah.
