This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead, assess, and craft the Enterprise Information Architecture for PODS.
• Develop a comprehensive perspective and strategic roadmap for the company’s technology initiatives, processes, and IT framework.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure technical solutions align with the company's goals, mission, and vision.
• Provide Information Architecture blueprints and designs that are in sync with functional IA roadmaps.
• Advocate for Information Architecture and highlight the significance and advantages of effective IA design and governance to both IT and business units.
• Initiate and manage teams in complex technology evaluations, proofs of concept, and prototyping endeavors.
• Create and document data flows throughout the organization.
• Design data models for analytics and reporting while evaluating their feasibility.
• Establish data standards in collaboration with business data governance groups, including master, reference, and structural standards.
• Collaborate with solution architects on data integration and service architecture.
• Grasp business drivers and capabilities to determine architectural designs and necessary changes.
• Define and document strategic standards for enterprise application architecture across various platforms as well as engineering and development teams.
• Map enterprise information architecture models to packaged application models to evaluate vendor solution suitability and impact.
• Ensure that business data and information requirements are met through intentional information architecture.
• Document the architecture of infrastructure environments and procedures.
• Blueprint data architecture, including multi-year transition plans and modernization suggestions.
• Re-engineer and maintain a comprehensive view of data across various business systems.
• Analyze information requirements and design supporting data structures.
• Champion enterprise information solutions, including MDM, metadata management, analytics, content management, data integration, and related information management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field.
• At least 12+ years of enterprise-level experience in areas such as data architecture, database design, and business intelligence.
• 7+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
• Experience with a company or governmental agency that has at least 300 employees in the private sector or 500 employees in a governmental agency.
• Qualification in an Enterprise Architecture framework such as TOGAF or ZF is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with MDM, BI, data warehouse design, and implementation techniques.
• Familiarity with industry-standard middleware, ETL, master data hubs, and service-oriented architecture, design, and delivery solutions.
• Experience with BI and analytics architectures, including traditional warehousing, distributed computing, NoSQL, virtualization, or data streaming.
• Proficient in defining Information Architectures for cloud-based solutions and platforms like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Azure SQL, Cassandra, and Cosmos.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with ERWin or an industry-standard modeling tool for OLTP and OLAP data models and their implementation.
• Knowledge of domain modeling, business process data flows, business information modeling, entity flow diagrams, common information models, and Master Data Management.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure Stack.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Snowflake.
• Knowledge and practical experience in implementing data management capabilities, including Master and Reference Data Management, Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, and Data Governance.
