Workday Payroll Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Implement and configure large-scale Workday solutions for Kainos's international client base.

• Comprehend customer requirements and design solutions that are aligned with their needs.

• Collaborate closely with team members while effectively managing your own workload independently.

• Mentor junior team members and share expertise.

• Provide services across Workday Consulting and Application Management Services.

• Execute Application Management Services tasks in accordance with established Service Level Agreements.

• Travel to client sites within the same region as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in UK Operational Payroll — at least 5 years.

• Strong understanding of Workday Payroll and related specialist capabilities.

• Experience interacting with customers in a consulting context.

• Ability to comprehend customer needs, cultivate relationships, and escalate issues as required.

• Clear and effective communication skills with customers and colleagues, including in remote work settings.

• Capacity to work within remote teams, alongside clients, and independently without supervision.

• Skill in planning your workload and adhering to deadlines.

• Ability to apply relevant standards and procedures while ensuring quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Understanding of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements.

• Commitment to maintaining information security at all times.

• Familiarity with the Kainos story and broader business offerings.

• Understanding of company strategy and how to contribute to it.

• Ability to enhance tools and/or processes.

• Eagerness to learn relevant subject matter, including international regulatory requirements.

• Flexibility to rotate between Workday Consulting and Application Management Services.

• For Application Management Services, capability to meet defined Service Level Agreements.

• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites in the same region; minimal out-of-region travel may be necessary.

• Workday HCM, Financials, or Payroll Certification (preferred).

• Professional qualifications in the relevant area of expertise (preferred).

• Commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics (preferred).

• Consulting skills, including presenting, engaging in workshops, and explaining functionality or solutions to clients (preferred).
