Payroll Audit and Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Compile, analyze, and provide reports on payroll, compensation, timekeeping, and workforce program data.

• Identify compliance risks, utilization patterns, policy deviations, and opportunities for operational enhancements.

• Create dashboards, metrics, and actionable insights for leadership.

• Oversee corrective actions, risk mitigation strategies, and initiatives for process improvement.

• Conduct internal audits regarding payroll operations, physician compensation interfaces, workforce investment programs, sponsorship agreements, educational assistance programs, and eligibility for forgiveness programs.

• Track changes in federal, state, and regulatory requirements affecting payroll, tax reporting, educational assistance, workforce investment programs, and forgiveness initiatives.

• Design, revise, and implement policies, procedures, and controls.

• Create educational resources and offer consultation to leaders and stakeholders.

• Maintain documentation, audit records, compliance evidence, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Collaborate with Payroll, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, clinical departments, and operational leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Compliance, Workforce Programs Administration, and/or Healthcare Operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Expertise in Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting.

• Familiarity with Internal Audit Methodologies.

• Knowledge of Employment-Related Compliance Requirements.
