This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead or assist in the implementation of Workday Payroll for clients in the UK and Ireland, overseeing the process from design to go-live.

• Set up payroll processing structures, pay components, tax elements, and statutory deductions in compliance with UK (HMRC) and Ireland (Revenue) regulations.

• Oversee the integration of Workday Payroll with third-party systems, including banking, pensions, and benefits providers.

• Perform parallel runs, reconciliations, and payroll tests to ensure accuracy prior to going live.

• Offer guidance to clients on optimal payroll operating models, control frameworks, and compliance obligations.

• Assist with year-end processing, statutory reporting, and audit needs for both regions.

• Diagnose payroll issues and deliver hypercare support post-go-live.

• Record configuration choices, business processes, and training documentation for client teams.

• Collaborate closely with Albida's wider delivery team to ensure payroll initiatives are in sync with broader HR and finance transformation objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in configuring and implementing Workday Payroll, particularly for the UK and Ireland.

• In-depth understanding of UK PAYE, NI, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), and pension auto-enrolment.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Irish PAYE, PRSI, USC, and statutory reporting obligations.

• Proficient in Workday Payroll configuration tools, including pay components, earnings/deductions, accumulations, and payroll processing frameworks.

• Experience in managing payroll integrations and third-party interfaces.

• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience is preferred.

• Workday Payroll certification (UK and/or Ireland) is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially under tight payroll deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior client stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborative team player, able to work across distributed project teams.

• Flexible and adaptable to changing client priorities and environments with multiple projects.
