Associate Consultant – Compensation Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research on market data, salary data aggregators, and published surveys to assist in pricing jobs and generating market composites and recommendations.

• Evaluate market composites from various pricing sources to inform client suggestions.

• Analyze clients' financial and compensation data in relation to the market utilizing Excel modeling skills.

• Utilize and review financial models and internal efficiency tools; recommend or implement necessary changes.

• Assist in the development of client reports using PowerPoint and formatted Excel tables.

• Support the consulting team in the creation of comprehensive compensation programs across multiple industries.

• Develop visual comparisons between market compensation data and client compensation data for client presentations.

• Organize, lead, and finalize participation in annual compensation surveys.

• Document processes, timelines, responsible parties, project plans, data requests, and backend client support and analysis.

• Generate meeting agendas and facilitate calls as directed.

• Maintain thorough and accurate information within the agency management system.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field with a focus on analytics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of two (2) years of corporate work experience is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and a critical thinker capable of narrating a story through data.

• Proven experience in meeting tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy, and working independently to achieve effective outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.
