Workday Learning Configuration, Support Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Set up Workday Learning, which includes managing security groups, business processes, campaigns, courses, and programs.

• Develop, test, and implement Learning-specific EIBs for courses, enrollments, completions, content, and associated data.

• Evaluate configuration changes and EIB loads in non-production environments prior to deployment in production.

• Examine Workday Learning business logic, configuration, and security rules to address escalated issues.

• Identify root causes and apply solutions rather than merely forwarding support tickets.

• Evaluate the effects of modifications in other HCM modules on Workday Learning, including changes in organizational structures, security, and business processes.

• Offer post-go-live hypercare and stabilization assistance following the transition from SumTotal to Workday.

• Record root causes, solutions, configurations, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Collaborate with the migration vendor to convert their design into sustainable internal support workflows.

• Deliver knowledge transfer and training to the internal Workday production support team.

• Act as an escalation resource for Learning issues that necessitate in-depth configuration and technical analysis.

• Assist with ongoing configuration, testing, EIB, and production support tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical Workday Learning configuration experience, ideally across multiple implementations.

• Significant experience with Workday EIBs, especially concerning Learning-related data objects.

• Experience in testing configuration and data modifications in both lower and production environments.

• Capability to independently assess Workday business processes, security, and configuration.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving intricate Workday Learning challenges.

• Comfortable collaborating directly with implementation/migration vendors and internal production support teams.

• Workday Learning certification (preferred).

• Experience with Workday Learning post-migration hypercare (preferred).

• Familiarity with SumTotal LMS and/or SuccessFactors LMS (preferred).

• Understanding of cross-module HCM implications on Workday Learning, particularly concerning security, organizational structures, and business processes (preferred).
