Workday Financial Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Workday Prism Analytics and Workday Accounting Center.

• Establish financial and operational data requirements from various source systems.

• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, IT, and Data Management teams to automate financial data integration processes.

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot data ingestion and transformation processes within Workday Prism.

• Configure and uphold Accounting Center rules, mappings, and automated journal entry processes.

• Aid in data validation, reconciliation, and initiatives for financial data integrity.

• Facilitate integrations involving reinsurance systems, reserve databases, investment platforms, allocation methodologies, and reporting processes.

• Enhance and sustain existing financial system integrations.

• Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and automate manual tasks.

• Engage in Adaptive Planning implementation and provide ongoing support.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, dashboards, and analytics to inform business decision-making.

• Support banking and treasury integrations, including testing, maintenance, and cash management projects.

• Contribute to Workday system enhancements related to accounting standards, chart of account changes, new products, organizational growth, and acquisitions.

• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and financial reporting tools.

• Support employee and organizational data management tasks within Workday.

• Assist with internal and external audits.

• Maintain documentation for integrations, controls, configurations, and financial procedures.

• Uphold compliance, governance, data quality, reconciliation accuracy, and process consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience in supporting or administering Workday Financials.

• Familiarity with Workday Prism Analytics.

• Knowledge of Workday Accounting Center.

• Strong grasp of general accounting principles.

• Solid understanding of financial reporting processes.

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting information systems.

• Experience in designing, supporting, or maintaining financial data integrations and data pipelines.

• Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and best practices in data management.

• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry is preferred.

• Previous experience integrating financial systems with HR, payroll, claims, or policy administration platforms is preferred.

• Familiarity with banking, treasury, or cash management integrations is preferred.

• Knowledge of Adaptive Planning is preferred.

• Experience in participating in ERP, Workday Financials, or HCM implementations is preferred.
