This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Offer pre-sales technical advice in the design, engineering, sales, and implementation of advanced products, applications, and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams, strategic partners, and industry allies to evaluate product applications and recommend optimal systems solutions.
• Address customer RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs while crafting viable proposals to enhance Juniper’s business growth.
• Develop and advise on architecture designs, engineering bills of materials, and implementation specifications for next-generation networks and solutions.
• Demonstrate Juniper technologies through technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and trial engagements.
• Establish, cultivate, and sustain relationships with customer IT decision-makers and industry partners.
• Provide training and support to industry partners and customer engineers.
• Remain updated on industry trends, competitive solutions, products, and services.
• Utilize emerging technologies to tackle customer challenges.
• Travel as necessary to fulfill business and customer needs.
• At least 3 years of experience in a technical/pre-sales capacity as a Sales or Systems Engineer.
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in designing, engineering, or consulting on WAN, Data Center, Security, and Cloud technology solutions.
• Extensive experience in implementing and managing large-scale WAN backbone networks.
• Deep knowledge of the Juniper product line, competitors’ offerings, solutions, and vertical market use cases.
• Practical expertise with routing, switching, and security technologies.
• Significant customer-facing sales experience, including presentations, whiteboarding, and executive/C-level interactions.
• Comprehensive understanding of routing protocols, including IGPs, EGPs, and Layer-2/3 VPNs.
• Extensive experience in datacenter network design, including EVPN/VXLAN, Clos architectures, and underlay fabric.
• In-depth MPLS and WAN network design experience, including LDP, RSVP, SR-TE, and SRv6.
• Experience with network security technologies such as NGFW, UTM, DDoS, IPSec, MACSec, and SIEM.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper or solutions from other vendors.
• Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
• Desired experience in DevOps automation using Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, YANG, JSON, and Netconf.
• Desired familiarity with AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Preferred certifications include JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE, or other industry credentials.
