This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Deliver pre-sales technical consultation in the design, engineering, sale, and implementation of advanced products, applications, and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders to evaluate product applications and propose optimal systems solutions.
• Address customer RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, crafting actionable proposals that contribute to Juniper’s growth.
• Develop and advise on architectural designs, engineering bills of materials, and implementation specifications for next-generation networks and solutions.
• Demonstrate Juniper technologies through technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept, and trial initiatives.
• Establish, cultivate, and sustain relationships with customer IT decision-makers and industry partners.
• Provide training and support to industry partners and customer engineers.
• Engage in continuous learning to maintain a competitive edge in industry solutions, products, and services.
• Leverage emerging technologies to tackle customers’ real-world challenges.
• At least 3 years of experience in a technical/pre-sales capacity as a Sales or Systems Engineer.
• Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in designing, engineering, or consulting on WAN, Data Center, Security, and Cloud technology solutions.
• Extensive experience in implementing and managing large-scale WAN backbone networks.
• Profound knowledge of the Juniper product line, competitors' offerings, solutions, and vertical market applications.
• Practical networking industry expertise across routing, switching, and security technology domains.
• Extensive customer-facing sales experience, including presentations, whiteboarding sessions, and executive/C-level interactions.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols, including IGPs, EGPs, and Layer-2/3 VPNs.
• In-depth datacenter network design experience, including EVPN/VXLAN, Clos architectures, and underlay fabric.
• Significant experience in MPLS and WAN network design, covering LDP, RSVP, SR-TE, and SRv6.
• Network security experience with NGFW, UTM, DDoS, IPSec, MACSec, and SIEM.
• Practical experience with Juniper or other vendors’ solutions.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to meet business and customer requirements.
• Desired DevOps automation experience using Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, YANG, JSON, and Netconf.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure is preferred.
• JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE, or other industry certifications are desirable.
