This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across the Infrastructure and Operations portfolio to support private and public cloud systems and operating systems, with an emphasis on addressing security vulnerabilities.

• Create repeatable automation processes for patch management, software updates, and capability delivery.

• Lead initiatives to resolve issues affecting mission-critical systems and implement automation to avert future occurrences.

• Carry out production system modifications in adherence to Change Management protocols.

• Engage in a Center of Excellence focused on cloud utilization and adherence to cloud standards.

• Keep an up-to-date inventory of server, storage, networking software and hardware, as well as virtual environments.

• Ensure compliance with governance standards for cloud usage, enhancing security and operational efficiency.

• Develop standard operating procedures for operational teams.

• Serve as an escalation point for incident management and ticket resolution.

• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned or required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or a GED from an accredited institution.

• Proficiency in designing, building, securing, and managing Windows systems.

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies.

• Practical knowledge of core cloud competencies, including patching and environment management.

• Experience in automation scripting.

• Proven ability to identify repeatable processes and collaborate with operations teams to automate and document procedures.

• Experience in designing, building, and managing Linux/Unix-based systems.

• A technical degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.

• Experience in supporting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) delivery.

• Knowledge of best practices for security in public and private cloud environments.

• Troubleshooting skills involving the analysis of logs, traffic traces, configuration data, and automation tools.

• Experience in system health monitoring and performance optimization.

• Background in regulated and/or high-security environments and industries (PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.).
