This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design and oversee the comprehensive Workday architecture, which includes business process frameworks, security models, tenant configurations, and integration landscapes.
β’ Direct complex initiatives such as module implementations, integrations from mergers/acquisitions, significant upgrades, and tenant consolidations.
β’ Manage the integration strategy between Workday and third-party/downstream systems, incorporating payroll providers, benefits carriers, time tracking, and finance systems.
β’ Utilize EIBs, Studio, Core Connectors, and/or Workday web services (SOAP/REST).
β’ Establish and uphold configuration standards, naming conventions, and governance practices.
β’ Collaborate with the Workforce Systems leader to convert business strategy into system roadmaps.
β’ Conduct architectural reviews of suggested configuration changes and evaluate their downstream impact.
β’ Oversee technical assessments of bi-annual Workday releases and provide guidance on the adoption of new features.
β’ Mentor Workday Administrators and analysts, serving as the final escalation point for complex break/fix issues.
β’ Cultivate relationships with Workday Professional Services, AMS vendors, and implementation partners.
β’ Maintain data integrity, security compliance, and readiness for audits across the tenant.
β’ Report directly to the Sr. Director of Workforce Systems & Payroll.
β’ Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
β’ Over 7 years of Workday experience, including at least 3 years in an architect or lead technical design role.
β’ Extensive expertise across various Workday modules; HCM is required, with Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, and/or Projects strongly preferred.
β’ Demonstrated experience with Workday integration tools: Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, and Workday web services.
β’ Strong comprehension of Workday security groups, business process configuration, and calculated fields.
β’ Experience in leading full lifecycle implementations or significant tenant transformations.
β’ Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical leadership.
β’ Workday certifications in Integrations are preferred; Workday Pro certification is a plus.
β’ Must be a U.S. Person: a US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. Β§ 1324b(a)(3).
β’ Must be eligible to obtain any necessary export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or Department of Commerce.
