This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Convert business strategies into practical capability maps, value streams, and target operating models.
• Develop and sustain enterprise capability models to identify gaps, redundancies, and investment prospects.
• Evaluate current business processes and organizational structures to pinpoint inefficiencies and foster enhancements.
• Create future-state business architectures, which encompass process redesign, organizational alignment, and capability roadmaps.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, and technology teams.
• Set up and uphold business architecture standards, frameworks, and governance processes.
• Work in conjunction with Enterprise, Solution, Data, and Technical Architects to harmonize business and IT architecture.
• Aid investment planning by connecting capabilities to strategic initiatives while identifying dependencies, risks, and value drivers.
• Articulate architectural vision and reasoning to promote the adoption of new business models.
• Curate, organize, and maintain educational content for enterprise architecture learning pathways and employee development.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Over 7 years of experience in business/enterprise architecture, strategy, or management consulting.
• Proficiency with enterprise architecture tools (e.g., ServiceNow, YouDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of business architecture frameworks and methodologies (such as TOGAF, BIZBOK).
• Demonstrated experience in developing capability models, value stream maps, and target operating models.
• Proven capability to evaluate business operations, analyze findings, and provide recommendations that facilitate informed decision-making.
• Excellent analytical abilities to assess current processes and pinpoint inefficiencies, gaps, and redundancies.
• Competence in translating business strategy into actionable roadmaps and investment priorities.
• Experience leading workshops and interviews to gather requirements and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Strong collaborative skills across functions with Enterprise, Solution, Data, and Technical Architects.
• Proven experience in establishing governance processes and architecture standards within an enterprise.
• Exceptional communication and change management skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Business acumen to connect capabilities to strategic initiatives and assess risks, dependencies, and value drivers.
• Preferred: experience with large-scale digital transformation or IT investment planning initiatives.
• Preferred: knowledge of Agile and portfolio management practices.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
