This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Develop and configure Workday Business Processes, conditional rules, and notifications in compliance with established architectural standards.
• Manage authorized Workday security modifications, including role- and user-based security groups, domain security, and business process security.
• Conduct periodic access reviews and escalate any exceptions to the HCM Manager.
• Create and sustain standard and customized reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
• Execute regular data audits, validation, and reconciliation across Workday and associated systems.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve data quality issues.
• Assist with EIB data loads and large-scale data updates.
• Observe Workday releases and the functionalities they deliver.
• Conduct impact analysis, configuration testing, and regression testing; coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide initial technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and end-user training/job aids.
• Manage Workday incidents and service requests from initiation to resolution, prioritizing by severity and business impact.
• Assist with internal and external audit inquiries related to Workday configuration, access, reports, integrations, and HR data.
• Oversee and support inbound and outbound integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio integrations, APIs/Web Services, scheduled file feeds, and vendor interfaces.
• Develop and maintain Workday Studio integrations, collaborating with IT and vendors for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Lead the administration of the Workday Projects module within the Finance SKU for Staffing and Program Management.
• Suggest additional Workday SKUs or Project features for Nava's consideration.
• Collaborate with Workday Administrators and the HCM Manager to translate approved architectural and business decisions into reliable, audit-ready Workday configurations.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of practical Workday administration experience.
• Certification in Workday HCM.
• Proven ability to create reports and configure Business Processes across various Workday modules.
• Experience with data loads (EIBs) and data migration.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Capability to operate within an established architecture/governance framework and escalate issues as needed to the HCM Manager.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with agile project methodologies.
• Practical experience with Workday Studio and integration development, including EIBs, Core Connectors, and APIs/Web Services.
• Willingness and capability to learn and manage the Projects module within the Finance SKU.
• Experience with system integrations and API management.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to fulfill other requirements for applicable government contracts.
• Work authorization that does not necessitate visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• May be subject to a government background check or security clearance.
• Must be based in the contiguous United States.
• Preferred: Workday Pro or Workday Partner Certifications relevant to the role.
• Preferred: Advanced experience in reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and RaaS.
• Preferred: Workday integrations with third-party enterprise systems.
• Preferred: Experience in a high-growth or consulting setting.
