This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua, +5 more countries.
• Assist Personal Injury patients and manage workflows related to PI, MedPay, attorney liens, insurance, and DOT examinations.
• Facilitate the intake process and coordination for new Personal Injury patients.
• Gather information regarding accidents, attorneys, insurance, claims, cases, and referrals.
• Identify, acquire, document, and follow up on MedPay coverage and claims information.
• Engage with patients, attorneys, law offices, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and referral sources.
• Request and monitor Letters of Protection, attorney liens, medical records, billing details, and any missing documentation.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls while providing phone coverage during regular business hours and Saturday mornings.
• Address new patient inquiries, schedule appointments, prioritize Personal Injury referrals, and follow up on missed calls and unscheduled leads.
• Clearly explain administrative processes and maintain professional communication with patients in both English and Spanish.
• Conduct insurance verification, coordinate insurance matters, provide administrative support for Workers' Compensation, and manage referrals.
• Keep accurate records of patients, insurance details, attorneys, claims, cases, referrals, and leads.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Appropriately escalate issues related to coverage, authorization, liability, or billing.
• Perform outbound calls, follow up on DOT examination inquiries, convert leads into appointments, and assist with business development efforts.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish – mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a U.S.-based medical practice.
• Proficient in handling both inbound and outbound calls.
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience in scheduling medical appointments.
• Strong customer service and patient interaction skills.
• Experience in communicating with patients over the phone.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
• Capable of managing confidential patient information.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality standards.
• Comfortable making outbound calls to patients, attorneys, providers, and insurance companies.
• Experience in a Personal Injury (PI) medical office is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with MedPay is strongly preferred.
• Experience with attorney liens and Letters of Protection is highly preferred.
• Knowledge in insurance verification or coordination.
• Experience with Workers' Compensation is necessary.
• Competence in obtaining claim numbers.
• Experience in acquiring case numbers from attorneys or law firms.
• Experience in communicating with insurance adjusters.
• Experience in engaging with personal injury attorneys.
• Familiarity with chiropractic office operations.
• Experience with medical records management.
• Knowledge in referral coordination.
• Experience with DOT examinations.
• Skills in lead generation and conversion.
• Background in business development.
• Proficiency with ChiroTouch Cloud.
• Familiarity with RingCentral.
• Full-Time position – 40 hours per week.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with Saturday morning coverage.
• Working hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
