This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the configuration of the Workday tenant, including business processes and system settings.
• Direct the implementation of Workday updates, releases, and system improvements.
• Keep documentation, configuration manuals, and training resources up to date.
• Assess and introduce new features within Workday.
• Act as the technical escalation point for intricate Workday issues.
• Provide training and support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
• Manage ticket queues and address complex system challenges.
• Chair the Workday change control committee in collaboration with HR, Finance, and IS stakeholders.
• Guide decision-making for system modifications and enhancements.
• Relay updates, obtain approvals, and execute changes affecting the organization.
• Encourage the adoption of Workday changes and effective communication around them.
• Oversee vendor relationships and third-party support services.
• Plan and execute system upgrades and go-live events.
• Provide support to over 2,000 users across various business units.
• Manage integrations, reporting, and system security at scale.
• Work in collaboration with HR, Finance, and IT leadership to promote organizational change and operational excellence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technologies, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, tier-3 support, report creation, and system documentation.
• Over 7 years of practical experience in Workday administration.
• Proficient in Workday tenant management, business processes, security roles and access control, integrations (EIB, Core Connect, APIs, Workday Studio), reporting, and release management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise integrations, Microsoft Office 365, and data reporting/analytics tools (Prism, calculated fields, dashboards).
• Eagerness to pursue Workday certifications and keep abreast of best practices.
• Experience managing integrations with third-party systems, Workday security management, identity and access management systems, and IT security best practices.
• Knowledgeable in cybersecurity, data privacy, disaster recovery, and compliance.
• Background in application administration, interface management, committee leadership, and supporting system implementations.
• Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
