This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the configuration of the Workday tenant, including business processes and system settings.
• Direct the updates, releases, and enhancements of the Workday system.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, configuration manuals, and training resources.
• Assess and implement new features within Workday.
• Act as the technical escalation point for intricate Workday issues.
• Provide training and support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
• Manage ticket queues and resolve complex system challenges.
• Lead the Workday change control committee alongside HR, Finance, and IS stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision-making for system modifications and enhancements.
• Communicate updates, obtain approvals, and execute changes that have organizational implications.
• Encourage the adoption and effective communication of Workday changes.
• Manage relationships with vendors and third-party support providers.
• Collaborate with the implementation vendor, HR, Finance, and IS leadership.
• Support over 2,000 users across various business units.
• Oversee integrations, reporting, and system security at scale.
• Plan and manage system upgrades and go-lives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technologies, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, tier-3 support, report generation, and system documentation.
• Over 7 years of practical experience in Workday administration.
• Proficient in Workday tenant management, business processes, security roles and access control, integrations (EIB, Core Connect, APIs, Workday Studio), reporting, and release management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise integrations, Microsoft Office 365, and data reporting/analytics tools (Prism, calculated fields, dashboards).
• Willingness to pursue Workday certifications and stay updated on best practices.
• Experience in managing integrations with third-party systems, Workday security management, identity and access management systems, and IT security best practices.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data privacy, disaster recovery, and compliance.
• Background in application administration, integrations/interface management, leading committees, and supporting system implementations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to plan and manage system upgrades and go-lives while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and present to internal audiences.
